I make AIM statuses, that aren't true, to make people jealous?

To make people jealous, I make up AIM statuses. I have said I was in New York City staying in the plaza hotel, I have said I was at 'practice' (i dont do sports), and I have said I was with friends (while i was really just alone). Is it normal to want to make ppl jealous like this? I'm 14
