i live in the netherlands, but in th edream i seemed closer to the usa, and in the dream, my husband and i somehow won a beautiful metallic teal motorcycle(brand unknown) and decided that i would have to go get it for whatever reason. i took a bus to madison wisconsin, got the bike and then rather than drive it back and stay in hotels on the way home, i chose to pay extra for a trailer and have the bike towed behind the bus back to home. when i arrived back home, i was supposed to go to one additional location to pick the plates for it but was uncertain how to find the place as earlier attempts were unsuccessful. i finally do find the place and get the license plates and return to my home and my beloved husband who is eagerly awaiting me. so what could this possibly mean? it was so vivid that hours later i can recall it as if it just happened in real life.....

Return a lost iPod touch?
2 days ago I was just walking to a plaza and on the streets I saw an 32 iPod touch 3rd generation iPod touch!! I looked around but no one was ahead of me! So now I have it. The thing is I know how it feels to lose something or get things stolen. It sucks I know exactly what the persons going through. I want to return it back but I can't go in his or her iPod and find things about him or her because there's a lock password it I get rid of it all the data will be gone. So I put it up on craigslist, I can see the persons songs so they have to go on their iTunes and tell me which song is next. What else can I do to return it???

Can you change the weight measurement on the Wii Fit Plus?
I just got the Wii Fit Plus and I love it except that it weighs me in Kilograms as opposed to Pounds. Is there anyway to change it to pounds? I have gone through all the menus that I see from the "fit plaza" up to the user settings inside my individual mii's settings. I can't seem to find a way to do it. I'm not a complete computer fool so don't just say "go to settings and look for it in there." What are my rights when it comes to promoting a cause around my state college's campus?

What's up with this police behavior?
When driving in my town tonight I was almost cut off by a cop making a left. He stopped and pulled out behind me. He followed me for a few minutes. When we hit double lanes he switched lanes to follow a car with their blinker stuck on like a drunk or old person. He followed them into a strip mall. I entered the next county boundary and went into the Walmart there in a nearby plaza (on the same road a few minutes down.) I passed by more than a dozen stores, but most were closed being 8pm on Sunday. I parked in a cluster of cars and was in for 5 minutes buying three things. When I came out my car was sitting in a big empty circle of parking spaces, except for one car, a cop car sitting idle in front of my car like an "L". I unlocked my car for my friend to get in and then the cop drove off as I put stuff in my trunk. I noticed as he drove by it was a cop car from my town and I think the same one as earlier. What was his deal? What would be the reason for searching out my car? My cops aren't crooked...when I worked in sales at a local mom and pops store by myself they used to sit outside in my parking lot when I locked up at night to make sure I got into my car safe. Now, I'm a little older and they always appear driving slowly by me when I'm outside my house doing yard work. This past September a cop stopping, pulling over, and watching me for several minutes. I got performance anxiety and went into my house till the cop left shortly after. I have no criminal record. I stopped speeding years ago and they never gave me tickets when I did. I don't do drugs or alcohol. I don't dress like a call girl. Why are the cops from my town picking on me? When I see a cop car I can only look at the car and not the cop because it's a cop car and I get hung up on the fact that it is a cop car. I can't identify the cops themselves to know if it's one or several different cops scoping me out. I did know 2 from the department, one from HS and one a former co-worker. Several others know me from being customers while I worked in sales. I don't approach them for people have told me that police are trained to take that as hostile. I don't want to be shot when I have no health insurance. What would set me aside from others in my area to get that kind of "big brother is always watching treatment"? No one I ever spoke to received it. I'm a 30 year old 102lb 5'5 white woman, with a flat chest and a big bum. How threatening can I be? (That is a rhetorical question.) What would warrant police scrutinizing me? What could I do to fall out of their radar and blend in with my local community?

I am applying for a culinary arts internship at hotel/bed and breakfast and they request you send them a letter of recommendation. I am a freshman culinary arts student and the only primary experience I have in the kitchen is in my cooking labs with my head chef. I don't really want her writing one for me (not that she'd say anything bad I just don't think shes the right person), but shes the only person who directly works with me in the kitchen. I have other teachers, such as my food writing who I think could write a really good one, however, it wouldn't directly be about how I work in the kitchen, it would be more about good work ethic, organized etc, like a general rec commendation. My question is would it be a bad idea to send them a general type letter of recommendation or would that be okay?

Am I obligated to pay for time my apartment was labeled no occupancy?
I have rented here for 2 yrs and recently there was a water main break that rendered the entire building no occupancy. The repairs took 2 weeks during which time my husband, child and I stayed with my parents. We did not have to pay for a hotel room but contributed to groceries etc and feel that we should not have to pay rent for the time we were out. Anyone know anything specific to New York State law regarding such situations? We are not trying to stiff the landlord, would just like to pay a prorated amount for the time we were out.

Hello I live in Ashland Kentucky and I was fired today at work for needing to leave for about 15-20 minutes. To explain the entire situation here goes. I have been sending my 5 year old to vacation bible school, and today (Sunday) was the last day so the children were putting on a small service play. Well I left out early to ensure that I would arrive at work a few minutes early, and well I forgot to leave our house keys with my spouse. So she called me at work and told me that her, my 5 year old and my two month old were locked out in the 91 degree heat. I then went to my supervisor and informed her that I needed 15 minutes to go unlock my door. I explained to her that there was no way that I was going to leave my two small children out in this heat all day with no where to go. I didn't expect it to be a big deal I live about a 5 minute drive from my place of employment. The supervisor then informed me that if I left that I shouldn't come back, naturally I was taken by surprise and asked if the supervisor if they were serious or just trying to joke around with me. But I was told that they were serious that if I left to go unlock my door to let my children in out of the heat that I was not welcome to come back. I feel like this is something that shouldn't be allowed to happen, thus why I am posting the question. Am I right in assuming that terminating someone in this manner would be considered wrongful termination? Any advice would be welcomed and appreciated thank you.

My friend hit a stop sign...?
My friend hit a stop sign due to bad road conditions while turning into a plaza today. In making the turn her car brakes ceased to work and she collided with a snow bank and didn't truly stop until the stop sign submerged in the snow had been knocked to an angle a bit (not fully over, it's still up and clearly visible to everyone else). I found a Visa gift card worth $100 on the ground next to my car... it was in a corwded parking lot in a shopping plaza. I have no way of finding who this card belongs to. Can i get in trouble for spending the money on it? (i mean legally, not morally). I know its not mine, but its an unsigned gift card with no name on it... not a credit card...

So, me and this guy named Justin met at a keg party about 6 or 7 months ago. We have seen each other before that but we never talked until the party. Ok, my aunt was having a baby in lexington, and I live in ashland. I was in the back seat, my mom driving, and my grandma in the passenger seat. my brothers being in the middle seats (this is a van) and me in the very back. It was night and I was looking ahead in the road, and it ended in darkness because of the long stretch, and at this time my heart had started racing. I felt in total despair, panic, and like I was going to die. this was the first time this had happened. It sounds like harassment to me. You should have your mom talk with the vp first and try and find out why he would want to invade your privacy by seeing your Facebook page. Unless you were directly involved in the fight and there was evidence of that you should not be held accountable. If the vp will not back down and rescind your suspension then your mom should talk to the principal. If that doesn't give results then filing a complaint with the school board is the next step. You might even want to talk to an attorney.

I would call your school's financial aid office to make sure that you do not need to go on the payment plan. Most likely, if the school has already received your financial aid info, that money will go into your account to pay off tuition and if you have any left over you will receive it in check form to pay for books, parking etc. Your money should be available to you at the beginning of the semester, or maybe a bit sooner to buy books.

When she starts to complain about something, point out the positive in it. Like if she complains about a certain restaurant, point out that they have awesome desserts or a really cool atmosphere. As far as the wasting money, that's just something that couples need to figure out together - some people were raised not really caring if they can save a lot of money based on their choices and other people were raised very frugal. These aren't huge issues now, but if you don't come to an agreement they can turn into big issues.

Am I in the wrong in this situation?
Since my mom passed in 2008, things havent been so great with my family. Ive managed to contact and keep in touch with most of them and pulling the fam back together. I thought it was going great until recently. Ive been trying to hang out with my 17 year old niece for months now since i havent seen her in so long. She promised me she would come tonight and spend the night. Now, checking my facebook i see she went to ashland which means she just went to her friends house or something. She tried using me as an excuse to go out on friday because she was grounded. Am I wrong for being pissed and basically saying screw her anymore?

I am 14 and feel not very emotionally stable. I go to school fine, I am fine with separation from my mom during the day and night when I know where she is and I'm home. But I've always had some separation anxiety and over the summer i went to a hotel with my friend for a week with her family and got EXTREME separation anxiety. Like I was depressed for a few days. I'm going to LA again this spring, and I don't want to have any panic attacks like I did before. Should I get temporary anxiety medication to take when I'm there if I need it, and when I get back from vacation I can go into therapy? I feel like I have un-stable and un-predictable emotions, and I COULD be perfectly fine when I get there, or a wreck, i just dont know until i get there.

Yes, it is a lovely dress, but it appears to have a train and unless that is acceptable and she does not think it will fit in with the other brides maids dresses, then the train could pose a problem. The poem itself is very light and airy feeling, reflecting the nature of the poem's contents. I like the rhythm to it, it also adds to the feeling. The words themselves flow very gracefully. Though this is not my usual style, I feel that it has a beauty all its own. The only grammatical suggestion I have is that in line two of the third stanza, you insert a space after the hyphen (changing "...truth so sure-it would..." to "...truth so sure- it would..."). I also like the references to Egypt, as this provides the reader with the ability to make connections- this way, the poem is not so intangible. You have a gift, and I would love to see more of your works. Keep writing!

Help with small university cheer tryouts?
Ive been doing cheerleading for 6 years and did two years for varsity on my high school team. The biggest thing i would say is to stretch everyday. It helps to be really flexible when you do cheerleading. Work on splits everyday! Stretch all your muscles, run to build endurance. If its possible go to a gymnastics center and take a tumbling class once a week to help build up your tumbling skills. As for the actual tryouts don't worry. They will go over everything and tell you what to do when you are there. You will most likely to a bit of everything, jumps, stunting, tumbling, cheers, and dance but they should go over it step by step for newer people. Good Luck.
